If you’ve been following the entire “ClimateGate” scandal as it is now being called then you’re probably in agreement with global warming or that it was scientifically created to help these solar companies and to set forth a new path for our cars/facilities. I honestly cannot believe how naïve or just plain stupid our politicians can be for not believing that CLEARLY the weather changes and the melting of the polar ice caps is not a cause for concern. Are you serious?
Even if SOME of the scientist findings on global warming are fabricated, you cannot deny the proof of what’s going on right now before our very eyes. I literally just read an article that Northern Texas had large snow flakes falling to the ground. Average temperatures for this area should be 59* but they are 11* degrees cooler at 48* degrees. There could be several explanations for this cause in temperature differentials; the poles are shifting course as it’s already predicted that they will in 2012. The completion of the pole shift will happen in 2012 but it’s most likely that is has already started. My proof? Earthquakes are happening all over the world including NJ (Morristown Feb 3, 2009) which is just one reason why we are seeing temperature differentials.
Another possible reason is because of the gases that currently affect all aspects of life that we are producing on a global scale. A study done by PhD, Roy W. Spencer concluded that raise in CO2 emissions affects El Nino and La Nina conditions (article found here). These results aren’t doctored or fictional because we know for a fact that in 1998 we saw an above-average number of hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean. Come on people you can’t make this stuff up!
Unfortunately, now that the “ClimateGate” scandal has broke every politician thinks that global warming is false and that we are completely fine. Weather temperatures have cooled since the last 20 years and all is well in the land. Is everything fine? FALSE. I’m no meteorologist but I know that two years of cooled temperatures vs. 20 years of rising temperatures are NOT a long-term fix. Take a look at this video of the polar ice caps:
As you can tell from the video, the polar ice caps are always changing from year to year. Some years it is bigger than the last but ultimately the ice cap has become unquestionably smaller. If you are a politician and disagree, why don’t you go to North Pole and check it out? Mount Everest is shorter now than it has been when it was measured in 1975. Sky News posted an article about it in 2005.
Conclusion: We need to implement these policies now regardless of “ClimateGate.” The proof is right before our eyes and if we don’t make changes now the changes that are affecting the earth and the 1998 hurricane season among tornado disasters will happen at a global pace never seen before.
